H... you start with fake melee builds because of their mayhemscaling and easy access and then grind the components for a gun build. anything works at fucking +250% weapon damage anointment xD. I'm using Jakobs crit damage, good single target dmage and ricochet + indiscriminate for mobbing. Some people use splash damage builds. Once I got done with that it took me a few difficult runs on m1 slaughterstar to get some decent guns, and then everything just got super easy. I leveled from around 50 to 72 in just a few evenings of running takedowns/slaughter runs. So I would say something clicked in Amara builds right around the mid 50s.
